Cape Verde to attract more visitors

Cape Verde looks set to attract a greater number of Portuguese holidaymakers this year, it has been reported.
According to A Semana, TAP Air Portugal will launch direct flights from capital city Lisbon to Praia in June.
The service will be operated on a daily basis, which suggests that the airline has recently seen strong demand for passage to Cape Verde.
This means that rental accommodation in Praia and surrounding areas will also be in strong demand, especially if the overall number of visitors goes up this year.
As a result, property values across the region could possibly go up, allowing property owners to enjoy considerable capital growth.
Commenting on the new flights, TAP spokesperson Luiz Mor said they are part of a larger plan to draw more holidaymakers to Africa.
This comes after Sarah Brown from NuBricks.com said that in recent years, Cape Verde has become a magnet for second home buyers from overseas.
