Cape Verde recommended to investors
The Cape Verde islands have been recommended as a good market for overseas property buyers to consider.
According to the Home Move website, the west African archipelago offers considerable investment potential.
The country was praised for offering a number of attractions such as a growing tourist market and a good climate for 12 months of the year.
This means that its rental potential is much higher than in areas that have a more seasonal tourist trade.
Meanwhile, the website said that Cape Verde was currently experiencing strong economic growth, with an increase of 7.7 per cent likely to occur this year.
Home Move commented: "It has many natural attractions and consistently good weather."
The website added that local people had a per capita income that was currently above that of many other African countries.
Meanwhile, TUI Travel has highlighted Cape Verde as a destination that is becoming increasingly popular with British holidaymakers this year.
