Emerging ski resorts recommended to investors

Overseas property investors have been advised to consider looking at emerging ski resorts in Europe.
According to NuBricks.com, property in established winter sports locations is getting very expensive and difficult to find.
This has prompted the website to recommend that investors look at places which offer cheaper property values and few building restrictions.
The online portal stated that eastern European countries such as Slovakia and Bulgaria could be ideal spots for prospective buyers.
NuBricks.com remarked: "These are markets which have not experienced the growth in interest seen in France, Switzerland and Austria."
However, the website said these countries have considerable potential for expansion over the next few years.
This, it stated, "bodes very well" for the future of winter sports tourism in eastern Europe and the likelihood of further growth.
The region was recently highlighted by currency exchange specialist Travelex as a good-value destination for people who are feeling the pinch from the weak pound.
