Bulgaria 'popular with different nationalities'
Bulgaria is proving to be an appealing destination to people of various nationalities, according to experts.
Bosses at the Zlatni Pyasatsi resort were quoted by the Sofia Echo as saying that tourists were arriving from many other European countries.
This could potentially boost its appeal as an investment hotspot for investors, especially those wishing to buy rental accommodation for holidaymakers.
Many of the tourists were said to be from Russia, while Bulgaria was also said to be appealing to Britons and Germans as well.
However, the market share of visitors from Germany and the UK was said to have dropped slightly, partly due to an increased number of tourists from other countries.
For example, Bulgaria was also cited as a popular tourist destination among Norwegians and Swedes.
This comes shortly after Focus reported on research from Green Life Property Development which highlighted the popularity of the Black Sea region among investors from Britain, Russia, Romania and Kazakhstan.
