Bulgaria 'offers bargain properties'

Overseas property buyers have been advised that Bulgaria offers a selection of cheap houses for sale.
UK-based newspaper the Telegraph said that the country was appealing to many foreign investors because it offered a wide range of budget options.
Commenting on the Bulgarian housing market, the publication stated: "Try to spend more than £100,000 and you are hard-pressed to find anything."
Prospective investors in Bulgaria were advised that if they wished to acquire a property at the higher end of the market, cities such as Sofia were the best option.
The newspaper added that cheap prices were also prevalent outside the property market, as people could enjoy attractions such as good food and winter sports at a relatively low cost.
This follows a recent report in the Sofia Echo which stated that Bulgarian tour operators believed that the country would attract more people from the UK in the next few years.
