Britons 'still keen to invest abroad'

British people are still very keen to purchase foreign properties, according to industry experts.
A Place in the Sun Live is preparing to hold its next exhibition in Birmingham in September and is expecting a strong turnout.
This is despite the fact that the UK has recently been hit by the credit crunch and growing concerns of an economic recession.
However, A Place in the Sun Live has insisted that buying a foreign residence could still be a worthwhile and potentially lucrative endeavour.
"There are plenty of opportunities where you can still see your hard-earned money grow," it commented.
Prospective buyers were told that eastern European countries such as Bulgaria could be a particularly good bet, as it is seeing significant growth in house prices.
This means that people who own an investment property in Bulgaria could make a considerable profit should they choose to sell up at a later date.
According to official figures cited by Dnevnik Daily, Britons are currently the most prolific overseas investors in the Bulgarian economy.
