Britons 'buying in Bulgaria'

Overseas property buyers from the UK are increasingly considering investing in the Bulgarian market, an expert has said.
Property author Andrew Regan highlighted many of the attractions of the country, such as its potential for strong returns and low house prices.
In addition, he said its growing popularity as a holiday destination had resulted in many high-quality developments being created in desirable areas.
Bulgaria's newfound appeal was said to be partly due to the growth in aviation, as it was easy to reach and affordable.
Mr Regan also referred to the speed at which it achieved international prominence, saying that not many Britons would have been able to even find it on a map 20 years ago.
He commented: "Today, hundreds of Brits own property there and thousands more visit this Balkan gem every year."
On January 1st 2008, Bulgaria will celebrate its first anniversary as a full member of the European Union.
