Aviation 'offers choice' to overseas buyers

Overseas property buyers have an unprecedented amount of choice as a result of the growth in aviation, experts have said.
The Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP) said the budget airline sector in particular had contributed to people visiting and buying properties in less traditional holiday destinations.
Paul Owen, chief executive of AIPP, said Europe had been opened up by the low-cost carriers, making holiday planning and property investment a much more "exciting" proposition.
He commented: "It's changed the way people travel."
Mr Owen also said that if established airlines such as easyJet and Ryanair were flying to particular destinations, consumers tended to feel more confident and happy about travelling there.
He added that he had "no doubt" that many of those who did travel to more exotic and distant locations would later start considering buying property there.
The comments follow recent advice from Cheapflights.co.uk, which stated that the accessibility of a destination was an important factor to consider when choosing to buy a property abroad.
