Tourism 'to drive hotspot's economy'

Tourism is likely to be the main driver of the economy in a Brazilian investment hotspot, an expert has said.
Foreign property investor Louise Brown said the holiday industry would be the "linchpin" of Natal, an area that has proven to be highly popular with foreign buyers.
Speaking to the Telegraph, she stated that visitor numbers were likely to increase in the next few years as a result of a new airport being opened.
San Gonsalvo is expected to be open for business in 2010 and will be one of the largest portals in the world.
Ms Brown commented: "It has year-round sun and this enormous airport about to open."
She added that Brazil was a very cheap place in which to invest in Brazil and a location that offered "huge potential" to foreign buyers.
Earlier this month, Varig announced that it would soon be launching a new flight from Heathrow Airport to Rio de Janeiro, further enhancing the accessibility of the country to investors.
