Rio attracts US expats

Two former residents of Rio de Janeiro have spoken of their decision to move to back to the Brazilian city.
US national Gene Celentano lived in the region with his wife during the early 1990s as part of his job as an oil executive.
However, he told the New York Times that he had never wanted to leave Brazil for another location and had been set on moving back to the country.
The couple, who are both now retired, acted accordingly and purchased a property in Rio back in 2003.
Speaking to the newspaper, they spoke positively of their new lives in South America.
Mrs Celentano commented: "I think it is one of the most beautiful places in the world - plus you have the city and wonderful people."
This comes after NuBricks.com stated that the country's economy is continuing to perform strongly, despite the global economic slowdown and rising oil costs.
The website said this is "no mean feat" considering the current financial problems across the world.
