Investors 'should consider Brazilian market'

People who are thinking of investing in a foreign property market have been advised to consider Brazil.
Chris Allen from HSBC stated the South American country could potentially be a good option for overseas buyers as it was an emerging market that was politically stable.
Speaking to the Financial Times, he cited benefits such as its low interest rates and potential for growth in the rental sector.
This, he said, could make it a more lucrative destination than many other, more established locations, as the property was less likely to be overvalued.
However, he stated that if people were looking to buy in an emerging market, they needed to ensure they received professional advice from specialists in that area.
Buy-to-let investors in Brazil may benefit from the country's popularity as a holiday destination.
According to official figures cited by Brazzil Mag, the number of foreign visitors has increased by 15.2 per cent in the last year.
