Improved infrastructure in Brazil

The profit potential of properties in north-eastern Brazil is likely to increase, thanks to a flourishing economy.
With living costs a fifth of those in the UK, British property buyers and other foreign investors are being drawn to the quickly developing South American nation.
Joss Hutton, of Homes Worldwide, argued that "huge growth" in Natal exemplified the growing presence of Brazil on the world property market, with mammoth shopping malls and a new airport pencilled in for a 2009 opening.
Mr Hutton wrote that "there are literally hundreds of beautiful beaches and miles of unspoilt coastline in Brazil and many of these areas have plans in place for improved infrastructure in the near future.
He added: "Brazil is fast becoming an area of international foreign interest and with the right ingredients, financial gains look extremely promising."
With superb beachfront properties available at substantially lower prices than the traditional investment destinations for British homebuyers, Brazil was recently named as one of the top ten emerging property hotspots by Channel4.com.
