Government aims to tempt visitors to Brazil

Brazil's economy could be set to benefit from an influx of foreign visitors, it has been reported.
According to Brazzil Mag, the country's government is keen to attract more holidaymakers from overseas as the sector is proving to be highly lucrative.
Therefore, authorities are collaborating with the Brazilian tourism institute Embratur in order to publicise its attractions overseas.
A promotional campaign will be targeted at 13 different countries, while Embratur representatives will participate in tourism fairs across the world.
Jeanine Pires, president of the organisation, commented: "Our objective is to expand the flow of foreigners into Brazil and increase the entry of funds in our country."
She added that encouraging more holidaymakers to visit the nation is a good way of achieving this goal.
An increase in the number of visitors could also encourage more people to consider buying an investment property in Brazil.
According to NuBricks.com, the Brazilian economy is continuing to perform strongly despite the global economic slowdown and rising oil costs.
Indeed, the online portal has stated that its gross domestic product could go up by 4.8 per cent this year.
