Brazilians step up overseas marketing

Brazilians step up overseas marketing

Owners of an investment property in Brazil may be in line to benefit from increased tourism in the country.

Property Wire reports that tourism institute Embratur is planning to raise the profile of the South American country and its various attractions across the world.

The organisation wants to show that it offers much more than attractive beaches, as it also has history, culture and many interesting natural features.

If the plan to broaden the appeal of Brazil is successful, this could potentially encourage more visitors from overseas.

As a result, demand for rental accommodation in the main tourism hotspots would increase, thereby creating opportunities for property owners to cash in.

A spokesperson for Embratur commented: "Brazil is a hugely diverse land.

"We are stepping up our efforts to promote this wide variety of attractions to prospective visitors and investors worldwide."

The country was recently praised by independent analysts Amberlamb, which said all the hype surrounding the Brazilian property market is not without justification, as it has affordable property prices and a desirable climate.
